Running Shutdown or Startup Script

Problem : when I went to close down my machine, it did the common "Saving Your Settings" thing, yet as opposed to going to "Windows is Shutting Down", it went to "Running Shutdown Scripts" initially, which took very nearly 15 minutes to finish before "Windows is closing down". This has never happened previously.

Answer :

  1. Click on Start
  2. Run
  3. enter " gpedit.msc" ( it will open group poliy page were you can see any script is running or not)
  4. Click on Windows Setting ( Computer Configuration)
  5. Then Click on Scripts
  6. Then you can see "start and shutdown" file double click on both file to check if they are having any script or not
If you see scripts is created remove it but remember first check who created this script this may also be important to your computer.
or
If you cant see then script must be created in your server group policy for that you have to contact to IT Support team.

Thankyou
